Surrey Ringing

Students & young ringers are welcome to ring at any tower within the Guildford Diocesan Guild & the Surrey Association (there is a slight tower overlap between the two societies).

The Guildford Guild was founded in January 1927 and has 64 ringing towers divided among four Districts (Guildford, Farnham, Chertsey & Leatherhead). It currently has over 600 members.

The Surrey Association was founded on the 17th May 1880. Today the Association has about 600 members from 71 churches in Surrey and south London. Towers in the Association are separated into two Districts – the Northern and the Southern District.

Each District in the Guildford Guild and the Surrey Association is led by an elected group of ringers who organise monthly practices and other social and ringing events. These events are open to all members, regardless of which District ringers belong to.
